Mulan Primary School is a new extension to the existing old school in the Mulan Village. The design extend the courtyard and organize the site through a series of linked open spaces. The roof of the classrooms is clad in old tiles collected from numerous villages in the local area. A series of steps forming a new public space and outdoor classroom, then becoming roof, before dropping down again to form a ground plane that defines the edge of the courtyard.
